Amid Uproar Against IPL 2021, Shikhar Dhawan Urges Everyone To Wear A Mask And Donate Plasma As COVID-19 Cases Rise In India; Says 'Let's Win This Battle'
Coronavirus cases are increasing every day. As many are aware, India has been struggling amid a massive second wave of the coronavirus pandemic. Due to the increase in COVID cases, many hospitals are even running out of beds, oxygen cylinders and medicines. Celebrities are doing their best to help the needy including Sushmita Sen, Bhumi Pednekar, Sonu Sood among others. Actors and cricketers are doing their bit to spread awareness and remind everyone to wear a mask and stay safe.

Given the current situation due to Coronavirus a lot of uproar has been noted against the ongoing IPL 2021. Just recently, Shikhar Dhawan took to his Twitter page and requested everyone to wear a mask and follow necessary precautions to stay safe. He wrote, "A humble request to everyone to please take all the precautions issued to help fight COVID 19. Wear your mask, observe social distancing and sanitize often. Those eligible please donate plasma as well. Let's win this battle."

A few days ago, Suresh Raina also took to his Twitter page and requested everyone to stay home if possible and fight COVID-19. He wrote, "India is battling a crisis situation today. The medical infrastructure is slowly collapsing, resources depleting and more lives at risk than ever before. There is no pain greater than seeing your loved one fight the battle."

He further added, "My humble request to everyone - if you have the choice to stay home, please do it to keep yourself, your family and your nation safe. Do your bit to help the doctors, police, paramedics and govt authorities do their job. That is the need of the hour!"
